Our decision to become Passive House Builders was rooted in a deep-seated belief that sustainability and comfort should go hand in hand. We were captivated by the idea of creating spaces that not only offer a sanctuary from the elements but also leave a minimal ecological footprint.
We always wanted more; we wanted to be sustainable but never knew what that looked like until we underwent training to become a passive house builders. We are now proud to call ourselves one of the experts in this field as we have completed three passive house projects in Melbourne and have a number of others on the horizon.
For us, passive house ensures all of our work is checked and verified, so we know for a fact that your home is a healthy place to be and extremely durable.
We don’t do this because we think it’s cool, and because it’s the hot new thing on the block. We are early adopters and live and breathe this. High performance is the champion on any one of our projects as we are dedicated to building homes that nurture the physical and mental well-being of the occupants.
We have now found out what it means to be a true sustainable builder, and are proud to say that we are part of the proactive change to building healthier better homes!

Passive house construction is growing in Melbourne, and there are now many builders who, like us, have carried out training to become certified passive house tradespersons. But doing this course does not make you an expert. Becoming an expert in Passive House requires hours and hours of onsite and offsite learning. Our expertise does not come from a course. It comes from actually building multiple certified passive house projects in Melbourne.
It's fair to say that we are the leaders in this growing landscape. We have built multiple new build passive house projects, and are currently undertaking our first ever passive house retrofit (enerphit) and we are about to start another one very soon. We work with a wide variety of passive house architects and those who are entering the space for the first time.
For us, this has not become a tick box because it's cool. We do it because we believe in it. We believe that passive house construction is the ultimate sustainable home, and if we are to refer to ourselves as sustainable builders, we must go all in!
We not only educate our clients on the importance of building to passive house standards, but we also have a passion for teaching and educating the building industry and the general public on the importance of healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient living.

All homes are different. They come in different shapes and sizes, but they should all be a place where you feel comfortable and safe. We believe all homes should be built to the highest standard where the health of their occupants is put before everything else. They should be high-performing but also require little energy to run. A home should be built to last, future-proofed, personal and designed to cater to the individuals living there.
As builders located in the inner west of Melbourne, we are looking to flip the building industry on its head. We work in all inner Melbourne suburbs of Melbourne. have also recently extended our range to build homes in the Macedon Rangers and Gisborne area.
