Craftsmanship is more than just excellent mitres in architraves around your doors.
It's more than that curved stone benchtop, the seamless transition from a timber floor to your tiles or the tiled mitres around the bathtub.
Most of you may look at this and go, "hey, that looks like a well-built bathroom; they have some pretty skilled trades."
But to us, craftsmanship implies a higher level of knowledge, skill and detail, far beyond what you can see.
Craftmanship to us is working out details to ensure the home is airtight, such as installing a starter strip so we can connect our future internal wrap.
It's using screws and quality glues over just relying on nails.
It's how our window is attached to the frame, installed and detailed to deal with water.
It's how water and weather are managed using our WRB.
It's ensuring every nook and cranny is insulated correctly by not compressing the insulation. I
It's differentiating between quality materials and one that promises the world but are no good!
